A quick glance over all the YouTube people (mostly MotoVloggers) I follow and you'd find yourself looking at the greatest sinners of traffic kind. Or so one might think. Besides the wheelies and the high speed riding I have yet to find a utter boneheaded move that was not instigated by another. Two wrongs don't make it right, but I am getting sidetracked.

I myself am a CarVlogger, and have a YouTube channel. And a Facebook... Twitter... Instagram... But I am getting sidetracked again. When I don't Vlog my camera resides on the window, like so many do in Russia. I come across the weirdest stuff, and those end up in DashCam compilations. But in the past 4 days I've come across 4 instances that where outside the norm, and I had to talk about it.

I wonder what your opinion is on the 4 situations that I encountered. I'd love to read what you think. Besides the points made in the video there is one thing you should take away. Get a dash-cam and start your own channel on YouTube showcasing your driving and that of others. It'll make your commute a lot more fun.

Take care, and stay safe out there.

Italian. Talks with hands. I see enough stupid stuff everyday on the roads. What makes you think I care to watch 9 minutes of yours? This is stuff we all see.

ok this whole video really pissed me off. I'll be the first to admit that I drive much faster than prevailing traffic in most situations, but I never EXPECT the people in front of me to be constantly watching their mirrors for me. Sure there was no signal, but did you use yours when avoiding this person?

The second situation is one that people who commute in traffic see everyday... not something to write home about. Although adding you being a dick certainly didnt help the situation.

The third one was a freak situation and the BMW driver was clearly in the wrong. But, I think by this point we have already established that you shouldnt be standing on a soap box/ preaching anyway.

The fourth one showed another driver clearly in the wrong also, but, again you decide to be a dick and just make things worse. Some times people just have a bad day. People make mistakes... get over it.

Honestly you just come across and a total dudebro in this video and probably all of your other videos. You drive like a ricer(WTF was that with the minivan?). I'm just blown away about how you can be so crass about your willingness to break speeding laws and then be so critical of people for making minor errors(BMW in a school zone not included). Congratulations, you drive a Mustang and its even a stick shift. But you are what is wrong with the automotive enthusiast scene. Its people like you that make the general public look down on us.

and can we not use the word Vlog anymore?

God, motovloggers are fucking insufferable.

They shit on motorists for some completely forgivable mistakes because of how quick they run out of *~*~*~dangerous~*~*~* drivers to upload.

They're like the motoring equivalent of the grade school snitch. They're so bad even the teacher is sick of 'em.

I made it to 7:46, but I want a refund. This was VERY hard to masturbate to.

Suggestions to improve? Edit.

Edit, edit edit.

Then, edit more. This video should have been 45 seconds, tops. You can run the camera and your mouth all day every day, no problem. Then, go ahead and listen back, get a handle on what you'd like to say and script it out. Make it short and sweet and then do it as a VO on top of the interesting bits of video that you captured.

Otherwise, this video is just a cab ride in north Dallas with a driver who won't shut up.

It's my own Americanized Dutch accent. I am actually originally from over the pond, and Texas is the first (and probably the only) state I resided in.

Yeah, I realize it is not everyone's cup of tea. I however do not script everything out perfectly. I think of something I want to talk about and then just do it. It's the vlogging thing. It's on the fly. Short and sweet just rarely happens.

Thanks for the input though!

Human, a lot of folk talk with hands. Especially cops. They do it to keep their hands in front of themselves so when someone tries something they can react lightning quick.

I understand this might not be your cup of tea. It's best to just move on at that point, instead of wasting your time typing a completely useless response.

Minor errors you say... Guess you consider an accident an error, and everything else minor. Running a stale red is no minor error. That is the stuff bad collisions are made of.

I do expect people to check their mirrors constantly. It is something that I have been brought up with. "that European pro active driving" Know what is in front, and know what is behind. This guy did not indicate and probably just moved over because he was doing better than the speed limit himself and thought no one could possibly be faster. Someone was faster and he moved into that someone's lane. He got a present in the form of a honk. Pissed him off yes. But also put him on notice to next time look in the damn mirror before moving over. And indicating when you are avoiding someone? Did you read that back? Didn't think so. I probably could have though, but I chose the other option. The one that lets someone know they did something stupid. And yes, I knew the lane was empty beside me. Because of "that European pro active driving".

And that minivan got on it a little. So I got on it a little. Silly me for having a little fun with a fellow motorist. Hardly ricer style. If I was a ricer I'd be doing 60 in that 40, and throwing on the hazards. I speed, you speed. Speed isn't the problem. It's people not paying attention to the task at hand. Driving.

I simply put my opinion out there when it comes to stupid moves in traffic. I can understand mistakes, no one is perfect, the first clip would have been the only one that qualifies. But, not really. Because you need to use your damn mirrors and your damn indicator.
